I fixed my issue with the game crashing on startup. go to My Documents/ WB Games/ Shadow of Mordor/ then open the render.cfg file. and look for this line: "Render.Setting.TessellationToggle" "1.000000". you need to change this value to this: "Render.Setting.TessellationToggle" "0.000000".
