The rocket turret fires straight up into the air when overcharged making it useless in any place that has a ceiling. Turrets spawned underwater, from supply drops, after overcharging, and with certain traits active use different patch versions. The rifle turret's overcharge doesn't actually work. Overcharging a turret removes trait effects.
GS and dagger are fully ranged and you can do various kite roles. Having block on sword 4 or projectile destruction on focus 5, distort, and optionally blink gives you a lot of ways to stick on enemies while keeping safe, with the added benefit of your attacks being ranged and bringing Mesmer utility. I don’t think a lot of buttons suddenly makes a class complex for pve. I think it’s more how you understand the class. Axe mirage is arguably considered the most difficult class to play in this game for pve
Class participation is a good indicator, but alone is not sufficient. Cuz sometimes you may enter in popularity contest, where it maybe popular cuz average Joe thinks its cool versus effective. Same also regarding class winning percentage, where class cuteness and perception of it being strong can easily skew the data.
